Danny meets Fero

Danny the cyndaquil hurried down the cracked mountain path, the heavy rain and fog blinding him as he tried his best not to fall into one of the fissures or crevices along the craggy dirt and stone. He shivered, the freezing rain making his breath come out in white puffs. His foot caught in a crack, and he gasped as a stab of pain shut up his leg and forced him to the ground. Danny landed on his face, tears in his eyes, and he glanced back to see his ankle swollen.

Great. First he gets lost in Craggy Coast, next he almost joins his supplies at the bottom of a razor sharp jagged pit, and now he sprained his ankle.

Danny tried to stand, leaning against a small boulder, and grunted as he put weight on his leg. He had to get back to town. Danny limped as best he could, spots in his eyes from pain, and sighed with relief when he saw a rock tunnel where he could escape the rain.

Fero the Luxray dashed through the jagged rocks, his nimble steps allowing him to easily avoid the jagged terrain as he sought shelter from the storm.

Fero's fur was different than most luxrays. Where a normal Luxray had blue fur, his was red. Because of this, he wasn't allowed in any packs. Fero had no one. He just wanted a friend, but Pokemon in the Craggy Coast only saw him as a predator.

Fero slid to a halt on the path as a bolt of lightning streaked the sky, followed by the lulling sound of thunder. Fero smiled, and continued up the path, splashing through the puddles and breathing out white smoke. He enjoyed the rain, sure, but he needed to warm up. Making a fire would be hard with all the wet wood around, but it was his only shot at drying off. He definitely didn't want to spend the night shivering.

Fero saw a tunnel ahead, and sighed as he sprinted in, glancing back as another bolt of lightning crossed the sky.

Danny limped into the cave, looking down at the ground with pained shudders covering his body. He suddenly heard panting, and...

WHAM!

A flurry of black and red fur collided with Danny, a paw stomping on his injured foot and making him yelp with pain and black out.

Fero stumbled back with surprise, and gasped as he saw a cyndaquil fall back with a scream before falling still. Fero hurried to the cyndaquil's side, and looked over his leg. Using his X-Ray vision, he looked it over before concluding it was sprained. If any more pressure were put on it, it could turn into a fracture.

Fero jumped as Danny groaned, and slowly looked up to him. They both froze, staring as the rain outside the tunnel echoed off the walls.

"H...Hi..." Danny said with a wince. "Didn't expect to run into anyone out here... trying to es...escape the rain too...?"

Fero approached and put a paw on Danny's leg. Danny winced, and Fero's eyes glowed. "You're hurt badly. You won't make it very far with your leg like this."

Danny shook, and looked down to his leg. "Yeah... you're... not gonna eat me, are you...?"

Fero recoiled. "Eat you? Of course not!" He shook his head. "You need to rest. If you keep off that leg you might be able to walk in... maybe a week."

Danny grunted as he tried to stand. "That's... to long...! I have to get back to town..." Danny gritted his teeth as he fell forward, tears in his eyes.

"You can't make it back to town like that. You need help. I can carry you back." Fero sat down as Danny sat up against the tunnel wall.

"In that rain...? No way..." Danny shivered, and lit his quills brightly. Fero sighed as he felt the heat radiate off of the cyndaquil, warming his icy skin and drying his soaked fur.

"My names Fero. I guess we shou-" He stopped as they heard his stomach growl. Fero bit his lip and grumbled as Danny winced and chuckled nervously.

"I'm Danny... you must be hungry, huh?" Fero turned away, and Danny smirked. "Ive seen this kinda thing before... been eaten before too..."

Fero glanced back with surprise. "You've... been eaten before? And you're still alive?"

Danny chuckled. "Yeah, I guess I'm just lucky..." Danny smiled. "Most of my friends have eaten me... its sort of a common thing for us... to show our friendship."

Fero turned and cocked his head. "But aren't you scared of being digested?"

Danny shook his head. "I trust my friends... they wouldn't hurt me."

Fero huffed. "Lucky you. Most Pokemon I meet are terrified I'll eat them."

"Have you ever eaten any pokemon before?" Danny asked, to which Fero nodded.

"Sure... but only when they let me. It... doesn't happen as often as you expect." Fero's stomach growled again in agreement, and he gritted his teeth.

"Well... you could eat me, if you want..." Danny said, and Fero turned back with mouth agape.

"You... would actually let me eat you...?" 

Danny nodded, and chuckled. "You seem like a good guy, Fero. And we could both help each other out. You can help me back to town, and I... I could fill your empty belly..."

Fero hummed. "Are... Are you sure, Danny? I don't want to hurt your leg more."

Danny looked down to it. "I'm sure... I need your help, Fero. Please, eat me and carry me down to town. I can pay you and get you some food once we get there, and keep you warm from the inside."

Fero hummed. Danny's offer did sound tempting. And Danny was okay with it, so maybe it would work out. "...Okay, Danny. I'll eat you."

Danny nodded. "Thanks, Fero."

Fero huffed and stepped up to Danny, his mouth slightly open as he prepared to eat the fragile Pokemon before him. He opened his mouth, and lowered it over Danny's snout, licking his nose as he took in Danny's head. He licked over Danny's face, and put a paw to the wall as he pushed Danny into his throat, swallowing and humming at the quill's spicy taste. He brought his head further down over Danny, flicking his tongue across Danny's body and tasting him fully.

Danny smiled as he heard Fero hum with pleasure. "I guess I really do taste as good as everyone says..."

Fero lifted his head, Danny's legs lying limp outside of his mouth, and gently opened his maw wide to let them slide in. He did his best not to touch Danny's injury, gently swallowing with his mouth open as Danny travelled deeper into his chest. When Danny at last entered his gullet, Fero closed his mouth and sighed, feeling the small cyndaquill slide down his threat and plopp down in his belly. Fero stood, seeing a distinct bulge in his stomach, and carefully walked around to make sure Danny wasn't hurt.

Inside Danny lied still in the belly, a pool of tingling acids warming him like a hot tub. His leg throbbed from the throat muscles pressing into it, but now Danny felt safe. He felt at home in this stomach. Maybe this was where he belonged. Inside a belly, helping another Pokemon stay full. Danny felt the stomach sway as Fero walked, and patted the stomach walls. "Its nice in here, Fero. Thanks for helping me. I really owe you."

Fero stopped and put a paw to his belly, smiling. "I'm just glad you're okay. You really do warm me up, Danny. I can feel my body filling up with warmth." Fero stretched, lying down, and yawned. "I hope you don't mind, but I thought we'd leave tomorrow when the rain stopped. Your leg might be better by then."

Danny nodded. "Sure... but, Fero? If its alright with you... could I stay in here? Just until we get to town. It makes me feel... safe."

Fero used his X-RAY vision, and saw Danny hugging himself. "Sure, Danny. Now let's get some sleep. We'll need our strength for tomorrow."

Danny nodded, yawned, and joined Fero as they both lied down and drifted off to sleep.
